Search Engine Optimisation is designed to be a practical workshop, aimed specifically at small business owners/sole traders. The course will best suit those businesses that already have a social media accounts and have an online presence.
Cenit College will deliver this workshop and it is designed to allow participants to learn about Search Engine Optimisation and how to get the most out of it to drive their business / service.
Outline Syllabus
SEO for Business will cover:
- How to optimise your website for search engine ranking
- Keyword analysis
- Good practice SEO web design
- How to understand search engine ranking factors
- Search Engine tools
Anticipated Practical Outcomes: On completion of the training programme trainees will be able to understand Search Engine Optimisation; be able to plan implementation of SEO techniques; and understand Social Media Optimisation.
Training Methodology
Learning tools used will include:
- Live training with presentation
- Participants will be given a hand-out of the slides and encouraged to take notes during the programme.
- Facilitated group discussion and specific questions from participants
- Practical Work Training
- Simulated work environment
Assessment Method
Each participant will complete a post-course evaluation form
Duration: 6 hour training workshop
